We’re now accepting grant applications from local children’s charities in Marion County!

Application Window: Now – November 5, 2025

Eligibility: Open to local children’s nonprofits serving Marion County

Selection: 10 charities will be chosen after a thorough review and vetting process
Grant Application Requirements
To be considered for participation in the Children’s Charity Classic, applicants must submit the following materials:

List of Current Board of Directors
Include names and titles of your organization’s current board members. -
Current Financial Statement
Provide either your most recent Audit or IRS Form 990. -
One-Page Narrative
Describe how the awarded funds will be used and their impact on children in Marion County. -
Impact Summary (50 words or less)
Provide a concise statement summarizing how the funds will benefit the children you serve. -
Video Submission (under 3 minutes)
Create a short video highlighting your organization’s services and how participation in the Children’s Charity Classic will impact local children.-
Videos do not need to be professional, but should be of good quality.

We do this by focusing on education, health, and financial stability – the building blocks for a child’s quality of life.

Excitement is building as amazing organizations prepare to attend a training session for the upcoming Children’s Charity Classic!
This inspiring event, set for February 20, 2026, will feature teams of riders paired with local organizations, all working together to make a difference in the lives of children in our community.
The United Way of Marion County is proud to host this incredible event, which brings our community together for a cause that truly matters. We’re also hosting another annual training session on October 14, giving agencies the opportunity to learn more about how to participate.

Selected Agencies
The highly anticipated Children’s Charity Classic has officially announced the 10 local organizations that will participate in its inaugural event, set to take place on February 21st at the picturesque HITS Post Farm.
This one-of-a-kind event aims to make a significant impact on the lives of local children by supporting organizations that provide assistance in education, financial stability, and health. The proceeds from the charity classic will be distributed among the selected agencies, enabling them to further their invaluable programs and initiatives.
