United Way of Marion County Receives $30,000 from Custom Window Systems to Support Families and Individuals in Need.
OCALA, Fla. (February 9, 2021) – United Way of Marion County announced today that they have received a $30,000 corporate gift from Custom Window Systems, a Pella Company. This gift will assist Marion County residents with their health, education, financial stability, and basic needs.
Scot Quintel, CEO of United Way of Marion County shared that “this partnership with Custom Window Systems began with us assisting a few of their employees with emergency shelter and housing needs in 2020. We were able to work with their HR department, our 2-1-1 information and referral line, and local contacts to ensure their employees remained housed and in safe living conditions.”
The United Way of Marion County was excited to learn that Custom Window Systems had decided to provide such a generous gift that will support 1,524 Marion County individuals and families.
Cole Adrian, President of Custom Window Systems (CWS), stated that “at CWS, we believe strongly in serving the communities where our team members live and work. This donation to United Way was a great opportunity for us to help support their efforts to provide housing and other resources right here in Marion County. We’re proud to make this contribution to their continued work.”
